1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Wooden Amethyst Studios ("we," "our," or "us"), including our Google Workspace add-ons, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Description of Services

Wooden Amethyst Studios provides Google Workspace add-ons and related tools designed to enhance productivity within Google's ecosystem. Our Services include:

  • Gmail add-ons for email parsing and automation
  • Google Sheets add-ons for data manipulation and analysis
  • Google Docs add-ons for document generation and formatting
  • Google Drive add-ons for file organization
  • Google Calendar add-ons for scheduling and synchronization

3. Account and Authorization

To use certain features of our Services, you must authorize our add-ons through your Google account. By doing so, you represent that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • You have the authority to bind yourself or the entity you represent to these Terms
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You will maintain the security of your account credentials
  • You have reviewed and understood the permissions requested during OAuth authorization

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You may revoke our add-ons' access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account Permissions.

4. Free and Paid Services

4.1 Free Tier

We offer free tiers for many of our add-ons with limited functionality. Free tier limitations are clearly described in each add-on's documentation.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Premium features are available through paid subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (for monthly/yearly subscriptions)

4.3 Pricing

Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect current subscription periods.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with our Services. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Refunds available within 7 days of purchase if you haven't exceeded free tier usage limits
  • Yearly Subscriptions: Pro-rated refunds available within 30 days of purchase
  • Lifetime Purchases: Full refunds available within 14 days of purchase

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Scrape, data mine, or automatically collect data from our Services
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our add-ons

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, are the exclusive property of Wooden Amethyst Studios and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Services for their intended purpose. This license does not include the right to:

  • Modify or copy our software
  • Use our Services for any commercial purpose other than your own business operations
  • Transfer your license to another party
  • Sublicense or resell our Services

8. Third-Party Services and Google Workspace

Our Services integrate with Google Workspace and may interact with other third-party services. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

By using our Google Workspace add-ons, you also agree to:

Our add-ons operate within Google's ecosystem and are subject to Google's policies. Changes to Google's APIs or policies may affect the functionality of our Services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Services will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Services will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOODEN AMETHYST STUDIOS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Services
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through our Services
  • Any errors or omissions in any content

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wooden Amethyst Studios and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services will immediately cease
  • We may delete any data associated with your account
  • All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will survive

You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling our add-ons and contacting us to request account deletion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
